i am happy this guy is trying and trying to show younger hairdressors some aspects. But from a senior hairdressors point of view this is no way to cut. The way he is hold ing the hair is wrong the angles are wrong . He is continuing to cut his base line everytime. Her hair is too thin to cut re cutting her base line and there are better ways to acheive a better look which are far more simpler. But again i am not putting down this hairdressor its great of him to show his skills and be proud !!!!!

Thank you! GREAT INFORMATION! I’m so sad because I live in a TN town and My My sister is a hair dresser so I’m familiar with the proper way of cutting hair. cannot find anyone knowing the proper way to cut layers in TN, I went to one of the schools and I figured out why. The teachers are teaching their students to cut the hair in layers straight across! Ah! so they leave people with a tier cut straight across all the way down (a stair look!) your video will help me the proper way to cut layers.
